Sunday Morning Pilates Classes

Believe Movement Studio is currently running a 4-week Sunday Morning Pilates Series. There are classes throughout the morning tailored to meet every level of fitness. Sign up now for $35, classes will run from March 8th – March 29th. After an invigorating workout with your fellow Woodlawn neighbors, head downstairs together for a delicious brunch. It’s a great way to start or end the week.
Classes take place at the Firehouse on the second floor.
Intermediate Pilates Mat:9:30AM – 10:20AM This class is for individual who have already taken classes at Believe Movement Studio.Students will go through the systematic classical Intermediate Pilates routine at a challenging and much faster pace.Instructor permission is required.
Pilates Basic Mat:10:30AM – 11:20AM This class is ideal for individuals who are interested in adding Pilates to their fitness program.This four week series will build on the classical Pilates mat routine using the Triad Ball to stretch and strengthen the abdominals, legs, back, and shoulders. The pace will be challenging and therefore not recommended for individuals just starting out on a fitness program.
Beginner Pilates Basic Mat: 11:30AM – 12:20PM This class is ideal for individuals who are just starting a fitness routine after being inactive for some time or rehabilitating an injury. The fundamentals of Pilates Mat routine using the Triad Ball will stretch and strengthen the abdominals, legs, back, and shoulders. Emphasis is given to the basic alignment of the body. Focus is more about building awareness of breath and movement at a slow pace to guarantee everyone progresses.
