Portland Public Schools is having their Volunteer for Community Care Day – THIS Saturday August 29th.  It is a chance for the community to invest in one of our biggest neighborhood assets, the schools. It appears that only 3 volunteers have signed up, I think we can do better! – Dave and ChristianHelp get the school grounds ready for the new school year! Volunteers will spread mulch and bark chips, weed, trim bushes, cut grass, clean up litter and complete a number of other tasks to make the school more welcoming for incoming students and the communities around them.
