The old bakery and bar at the corner of NE Dekum and Durham is renovated and ready for a good tenant(s). There is a total of 3400 sf that can be divided in a couple of different ways. In addition, there are three studio apartments.
We’ve tried to maintain the original characteristics of the building while updating it with the latest green features. Some of these features include an eco-roof on top of the corner retail, solar hot water system, vegetable based spray in insulation with superior air sealing capabilities, exposed wood ceilings, heat pumps, etc.
City of Portland is planning a covered bike corral designed by local landscape architect Peg Butler and Seattle artist Buster Simpson. This structure will sit directly in front of this building and should be installed this coming Fall.
