Sunday, September 23rd, Leslie Jerome Lewis, who coaches “Above the Rim Basketball League”–which often utilized the basketball courts in Woodlawn Park–was arrested on charges of kidnapping, assault, and using a child in display of sexually explicit conduct, among others. The 13-year-old child was safely removed and did not suffer serious injuries. The investigation has been turned over to the Multnomah County Child Abuse Team (CAT).
