A presentation called “Race: Are We Really So Different? Exploring the new OMSI Exhibit” will be at Kennedy School, 5736 NE 33rd Avenue, Portland on October 9th at 7:00pm (doors open at 6:00pm). Presenters will be Kristi Falkowsi, OMSI Senior Science Educator, Dr. Anoop Mirpuri, Asst. Professor of English at PSU, and Dr. Natalie Vasey, Assoc. Professor of Anthropology at PSU.

Following the presentation, the audience will break into small discussion groups to discuss the presentation’s subject and more general topics of race and ethnicity, facilitied by trained volunteers from Uniting to Understand Racism and the City of Portland Intergroup Dialog Program.
