Board meetings are open to all neighborhood residents and people who work or own businesses in Woodlawn.

Whether you are a first-time home buyer, a homeowner struggling to avoid foreclosure, a senior facing home repair bills, or simply a renter who wants someday to buy, there are programs available to assist you.

Come to Good Neighbor Pizzeria, 800 NE Dekum, at 7:30 pm to learn about and discuss how Woodlawn Neighborhood Association should respond to this facility. Looking for a place to celebrate  on Thanksgiving day? Doing the holiday community-style is a beautiful thing. There are volunteer opportunities, too!

PROPER, with Po’Shines Cafe de la Soul and Celebration Tabernacle Church, is sponsoring its 11th annual free Thanksgiving feast. There will be a full holiday dinner with vegetarian options and live entertainment.

Many neighbors lost plants last winter due to the cold temperatures. You can help protect your plants once they’ve become dormant by adding mulch to keep your garden stable and cool.  And we don’t mean bark dust!

There is a proposed Woodlawn area development at 6360 NE MLK Blvd. which requires a land use review. Woodlawn Neighborhood Association may submit comments about the project. Review the details here.
