Metro is seeking community input for the 2028-2030 Regional Flexible Funds Allocation (RFFA)
Once every three years, Metro opens a competitive grant process called Regional Flexible Funds Allocation (RFFA). This is a chance for cities throughout the region to fund new transportation projects using federal funding. This past application window, the City of Portland submitted six exciting projects. One proposed project directly affects the Woodlawn Neighborhood.
Northeast MLK Jr Blvd Safety and Access to Transit

Project Purpose: Construction
Project Description: New enhanced crossings and signal modifications along Northeast MLK Jr Boulevard (Northeast Hancock to Northeast Lombard St) at key locations to improve safety for people walking, crossing, and accessing transit along this corridor. In addition to enhanced pedestrian crossings, the project with improve intersection lighting.
