WNA Is Seeking Board Members and Event Volunteers!

Are you interested in becoming more involved with the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association (WNA)? Our annual meeting and Board and Officer elections is coming up at our October 1st, 2026 meeting. There are open positions for two WNA Board Members, and for two WNA Board Officers. Please contact us at info@gowoodlawn.com if you have an interest, questions, or would like more detailed information about any of the available positions.

You must live or work in Woodlawn Neighborhood.  If you work in Woodlawn, but don’t own the business, the owners may designate you to be their representative in Woodlawn. Neighborhood Association.

WNA Board Members are expected to attend WNA monthly meetings, and any additional meetings as needed to make financial and policy decisions for WNA. Typically, board members also take an active role in promoting WNA, participating in our events and activities, and often may find or create a niche for their area of expertise.

The WNA Vice Chairperson will be a board member, as above.  In addition, they will provide backup for the Chairperson, in the event the chair is unavailable, and any other responsibilities as agreed upon with the Chairperson,

The WNA Treasurer will be a board member as above.  In addition, they will manage WNA’s finances and give a treasurer’s report at the monthly meetings.  In the spring they will be responsible for filing annual reports with the Oregon Secretary of State, Oregon Dept of Justice, and the IRS.  WNA has minimal financial activity, so these reports are not difficult to prepare, and we can provide support and help to do so.  This position has been filled for the 24-25 year.
