Save the Date! 

Piedmont Neighborhood Association is moving ahead to host a modest reception for the street sign toppers that are being installed along Rose Parks Way. Join your neighbors for on Saturday, June 20, 2026 from 10:00 am to Noon at Peninsula Park Gazebo. Guest speakers will include city representatives, community leaders, live music, and the artist and Piedmont resident who designed the topper, Arvie Smith. A novelty trolley bus will be on hand to give attendees rides along Rosa Parks Way to enjoy the sites.

Installation of remaining Sign Toppers east/west:   Portland Bureau of Transportation (PBOT)  staffers reported that they have a seasonal signage schedule (fall each year) and thus the remainder of toppers will be installed over the Fall(s) of 2026 and 2027.
