Rick Reynolds recently returned to the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association Board as Co-Secretary with his wife, Krista. They have called Woodlawn home for about 12 years, and they especially enjoy being involved with the Woodlawn Farmers Market and Woodlawn Community Garden. Rick has also served on the Site Council of Woodlawn School since 2018 and organized the Woodlawn Cleanup + Recycling Celebration this year. He enjoys exploring the beautiful Northwest with Krista, gardening, tennis, biking, music, and community service.
In his professional life, Rick has been a passionate K-12 teacher in public schools and informal settings for about 30 years, and he now creates educational resources with partners such as the National Park Service, NOAA, and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service through Engaging Every Student and Engaging Press. He founded the organizations in 2009 with the mission to make the learning process more compelling and meaningful.
