Lagunitas Community Room – Portland
237 NE Broadway, Portland, Oregon 97232
All funds will go through non profit Friends of Portland Fire & Rescue, who will distribute to the Neighborhood Emergency Teams that participated: Boise/Eliot/Humboldt, Irvington, Sabin, King, Sullivan’s Gulch, and Concordia/Woodlawn/Vernon.
#TRIVIA! Disaster-themed and pop culture, hosted by Boise/Eliot/Humboldt NET Team Lead and Radio Room former trivia host Katy Wolf. Bring your A game! There will be emergency kit-themed #PRIZES!
#FOOD! Tamales (beef, chicken veggie), beans and rice.
#BEER! Lagunitas, baby.
#CIDER! Two Town’s Cot in the Act is just too tempting to resist, coupling Northwest apples with local Rival apricots.
#NETs! Bring your non-NET friends, because this is a great opportunity for them to learn more what we do in a fun environment. #ASKANET anything about emergency prep – how to store water, how to get family involved in planning, BEECNs, how to be involved in NET without being trained
Admission: $5-$50 sliding scale donation
Drink tokens: $5
Kiddos? The Community Room isn’t exactly a kid-friendly space (no play area), but teenagers are welcome.
Thank you to Northeast Coalition of Neighborhoods for co-hosting this event, to Lagunitas Community Room – Portland for the donated beer/beertenders, to 2 Towns Tap Room for the cider, and La Sirenita for the donated food! Also thanks to Pok Pok Noi and Bridges Cafe & Catering for donating delicious raffle prizes.
