Our Party in the Park was put on pause in August because of smoky skies and poor air quality, but you can’t keep Woodlawn from a good neighborhood party for long. This September, we’re moving the celebration to our brand-new neighborhood living room: Woodlawn Yards!
You may have noticed something different at the corner of NE Dekum Street & NE Durham Avenue. In partnership with PBOT, the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association, and City Repair, the street has been transformed into a public plaza—closed to vehicle traffic and OPEN for lounging, playing, eating, meeting neighbors, and simply hanging out.
☀️ Grab a slice, coffee, burger, or treat from one of our neighborhood businesses and enjoy it at a new bistro table. Feeling nostalgic for tetherball? Yep, we’ve got that too.

1 PM — The party ends…but Woodlawn Yards stays open!
Come hungry! We’ll have free food from Good Neighbor Pizzeria and Xocalo PDX, plus drinks from Portlandica Water, Good Wolf Probiotic Soda, and Esoteric Botanical Lemonade while supplies last.
