Woodlawn Farmers Market Celebrates 10th Anniversary!

For ten years, the Woodlawn Farmers Market (WFM) has hosted an independent outdoor market on NE Durham Avenue between NE Dekum and NE Madrona Street on every Saturday between June and October from 10 am to 2 pm. Adopt an Ainsworth Linear Arboretum Tree for Summer Watering!

The Concordia Tree Team works to keep the many trees that grace the Ainsworth Linear Arboretum healthy and thriving. In the summer, volunteers help water young trees that have recently been planted. More volunteers are needed! Woodlawn neighbors are encouraged to adopt a tree from NE 15th to NE MLK Blvd and tend to its watering needs throughout the summer and even into the warm days of early fall. Help

We hope you were able to join us this summer for some of the recent events sponsored by the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association. Adopt One Block to Help Keep Woodlawn Clean!

We do not have to wait for our annual neighborhood cleanup to keep Woodlawn spic and span the rest of the year. Some members of the Woodlawn Neighborhood Association already help out every week emptying the small trash receptacles at Woodlawn bus stops.
