In June 2019, thirty-two volunteers helped map, measure, and identify the trees of Woodlawn Park. In total, 299 trees from 48 different species were recorded at the park. Then the Urban Forestry folks at Portland Parks and Recreation created an amazing virtual tour of the trees that are in Woodlawn Park including a tree inventory, maps, and superb photographs of each genus and species they catalogued—evergreen and deciduous trees.
